Wedding Services & Fees
General Pricing Guidelines:
Wedding fees are discussed when the minister is contacted. We know many brides and grooms are working with a limited budget and wedding ceremonies are designed to fit the budget of the wedding.
HeartLight ministers in different cities can discuss their fees with you. Fees generally run from $200 to $300. for the service.
A non-refundable deposit of $50. is required to secure the date of your wedding.The deposit is applied to the fee for the ceremony. All weddings booked with any of the Heartlight ministers must be reserved with a deposit of $50. This deposit can be made on this site using the PayPal button. *Immediately after paying your deposit on Paypal please send an email to Heartlightweddings@yahoo.com with the full name of the groom, bride and the exact date, time and location of the ceremony Once you have made your deposit and secured your date, you will receive a contract from your officiant. Please sign this online and return it via email.
Your celebrant is available to work with you either in person, via email or through phone conversations. Heartlight ministers are dedicated to assisting you in creating the ceremony and vows that reflect your love, personality and lifestyle.
For those working with Rev. Hannah Desmond, you will also receive a copy of her book, The Wedding Journey, A Guide to Your Ceremony, Personal Vows and Joyful Marriage and a copy of her CD, Relaxation Meditations for the Bride and Groom.

TRAVEL FEES:
We love to travel through the mountains of Western North Carolina, Tenn. and South Carolina performing weddings. Often the drives through the mountains take several hours so we do charge a travel fee for trips that are more than a one hour drive. A location may only be 40 miles from Asheville but it can take 2 hours to wind through the mountains. Travel fees usually range from $25. to $45.
VOW RENEWAL CEREMONIES
Fees for a wedding vow renewal ceremonies are comparable to wedding fees.
Vow Renewals which take place within a wedding ceremony, i.e. you renew your vows directly after your son or daughters wedding, $150.
Your HeartLight celebrant will assist you in creating your ceremony and vows if requested.
OUR SERVICES: Once you have booked your wedding and paid your deposit you will receive a contract from Heartlight Weddings via email. You will also be sent printable copies of wedding ceremonies. You may read over the ceremonies, using them as templates for the ceremony, use them in their entirety or use another ceremony you prefer.
HeartLight celebrants are available to offer support, answer questions and assist you in the creation of your ceremony and vows throughout the weeks and months leading up to your wedding.
On the day of your wedding your celebrant will arrive approximately 1/2 hour before the service. Any last minute questions or changes to the ceremony can be handled at this time.
Each Heartlight Celebrant brings a calm, professional and joyful energy to your ceremony. The Fee for the ceremony can be paid at the rehearsal. If there is no rehearsal, the fee is paid at the signing of the marriage license. Please have one person designated to take care of this task. Checks may be made out to Heartlight Weddings. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your special day. We do everything we can to make sure it is meaningful and memorable.
We also provide the 72 hour waiting period waiver in New Orleans for couples from out of state, who will not be applying for a license 72 hours before the wedding. There is no fee for this service. See New Orleans marriage license page for more information.
