General Pricing Guidelines for Wedding Services & Fees
Step 1: Contact the HeartLight minister of your choice and discuss fees.
HeartLight Weddings provides open hearted, open minded officiants for your wedding. Each service is tailored to fit your vision of the most cherished and memorable event of your life. We offer custom designed, informal and formal, classic and unique 
formats for your wedding. Fees begin at $250. Fees for weddings outside of Asheville are determined by location.
Rehearsal Fee
Rev. Hannah is available for your wedding rehearsal. If you are not using a wedding planner or co-ordinator, Rev. Hannah is happy to work with the wedding party at the rehearsal. Fee for rehearsal attendance $50.
Step 2: Pay your $50 deposit.
A non-refundable deposit of $50. is required to secure the date of your wedding.
The deposit is applied to the fee for the ceremony. All weddings booked with any of the HeartLight officiants must be reserved with a deposit of $50. This deposit can be made on this site using PayPal.
Step 3: Send an email to HeartLight with your wedding information.
Immediately after paying your deposit on Paypal please send an email to HeartLightweddings@yahoo.com with the full name of the groom, bride and the exact date, time and location of the ceremony. Please include the phone number of the bride and groom.
Step 4: Sign and return your HeartLight contract.
Once you have booked your wedding and paid your deposit you will receive a contract from Heartlight Weddings via email. You will also be sent printable copies of wedding ceremonies. You may read over the ceremonies, using them as templates for the ceremony, use them in their entirety or use another ceremony you prefer.

Travel Fees – Remote locations
Rev. Tom and Rev. Hannah serve the Asheville/Western NC area and are also available for more distant locations. They offer their services throughout the United States and are happy to travel to remote venues and natural locations, as well. Travel fees vary depending on distance and accommodations.
All Confidentiality agreements are fully respected.
How We Work on Your Wedding Day
HeartLight celebrants are available to offer support, answer questions and assist you in the creation of your ceremony and vows throughout the weeks and months leading up to your wedding.
On the day of your wedding your celebrant will arrive approximately 1/2 hour before the service. Any last minute questions or changes to the ceremony can be handled at this time.
Each HeartLight Celebrant brings a calm, professional and joyful energy to your ceremony. The fee for the ceremony can be paid at the rehearsal. If there is no rehearsal, the fee is paid at the signing of the marriage license. Please have one person designated to take care of this task. Checks may be made out to individual officiants. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your special day. We do everything we can to make sure it is meaningful and memorable.
We also provide the 72 hour waiting period waiver in New Orleans for couples from out of state, who will not be applying for a license 72 hours before the wedding. There is no fee for this service. See the New Orleans marriage license page for more information.
